You’re invited to join Webinar 2 ‘Making the change’! Moving research into practice. Learn how evidence can be best used to change behavior and influence policy. This webinar outlines the importance of understanding possible interventions for making a change.


Guest speaker: Dr. Amanda Hall, Knowledge Translation lead NL SUPPORT and Researcher at Oxford University / Memorial University.

WORKSHOPS


A curriculum for Patient-Oriented Research has been designed in partnership with CIHR, patients, and education specialists. The following workshops have been developed:

·      Module 1: Patient-Oriented Research

·      Module 2: Fundamentals of Health Research in Canada

·      Module 3: Building Partnerships and Consolidating Teams


Eva Vat and Cris Carter attended the Train-The-Trainer program in September 2016 and are the certified facilitators for Newfoundland and Labrador. The dates and locations of the workshops will be announced soon.

Complete at least 5 of the 7 webinars and 1 face-to-face workshop and you willreceive a certificate! Please let us know if you are interested in the certificate program, email eva.vat@med.mun.ca to register your interest.
